Born and raised in Western New York, Deborah received her Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Canisius College and her Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.

Deborah is the Deputy Town Prosecutor for the Town of Colden and Village of Springville. She was formerly the Deputy Town Attorney and Town Prosecutor for the Town of Concord, and Town Prosecutor for the Town of Brant and Village of Springville.

Michael’s many years of experience include five years as a full-time law guardian in Erie County Family Court and 12 years as a sole practitioner, prior to the formation of Barone and Barone in 1994. Michael has received specialized training in collaborative law and divorce mediation, and has received certification from the Association for Conflict Resolution. He is an active member of the Family Law, Matrimonial Law and Criminal Law Committees, as well as Western New York Collaborative Law Professionals, LTD. Memberships include the New York State Defenders’ Association, Inc., the Bar Association of Erie County, and the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce.

Michael was a former Judge and Town Prosecutor for the Town of Concord. He is presently Town Attorney for the Town of Concord and Town Prosecutor for the Town of Colden.

Elizabeth A. Steger is an Orchard Park High School Graduate, Class of 1999. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Albany as an English Major. In 2007 she graduated from University at Buffalo Law School.

As a law student, Elizabeth worked as a student prosecutor, as an intern at a legal aid facility, and for private attorneys as a law clerk. While in law school she received training in mediation.

She was admitted to practice law in the state of New York in
February 2008 and admitted to practice in Florida in April 2008. She works as an assistant to Edward Pace in many of his cases.

Edward A. Pace

Edward A. Pace is a Bishop Timon High School Graduate, Class of 1970. In 1974, he graduated from University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a major in History.

He then went on to attain his Juris Doctor Degree from Case Western Reserve Law School in 1977.

He was admitted to practice law in the state of New York in February 1978 and was admitted to practice in Florida in 1979.

He has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, and the Bankruptcy Court since 1979.

Christopher C. Kerr was born in Buffalo and graduated from Bishop Turner High School. He received his B.S. from Syracuse University in 1979 and his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. At Duke, he served as vice president and president of the student bar association. He remains active with Syracuse and Duke alumni groups.
He is admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania, and federal court in the Western District of New York. He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Trial Lawyers’ Association. Married with two children, Kerr has been a board member, administrator, coach, and official for youth baseball, basketball, and swimming organizations. He has also served on multiple school district committees.
After several years representing mostly municipalities, corporations, and individuals as lawsuit defendants, Christopher Kerr joined Jeffrey Freedman Attorneys at Law to found the firm’s personal injury litigation department in 1986.
